VolkerStevin shares Southsea Coastal Scheme insights at NCE Flood Resilience Conference 2026
VolkerStevin was proud to present at the NCE Flood Resilience Conference, held on 29 April 2026 in London.
Representing VSBW, a VolkerStevin and Boskalis Westminster joint venture, Martin Dobby, Project Director at VolkerStevin, alongside Tim Milner, Operations Manager at Boskalis Westminster, delivered a session titled: “Engineering resilience: Lessons from the Southsea coastal scheme.”
The presentation highlighted the innovative engineering, collaborative delivery, and long-term vision underpinning the Southsea Coastal Scheme. This major seven-year programme is designed to reduce flood risk to more than 10,000 properties, while transforming the seafront and enhancing this historically significant stretch of coastline.
The session formed part of a wider programme of discussions at the conference, where industry leaders came together to explore solutions to the challenges posed by climate change, coastal erosion, and increasing flood risk.
The NCE Flood Resilience Conference continues to provide an important platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation across the water and infrastructure sectors.
