VolkerSite Services donates refurbished furniture to Morecambe Road School
The VolkerSite Services team proudly delivered a shipment of refurbished furniture to Morecambe Road School — a valued local Special Educational Needs (SEN) school that supports children from primary age through to college.
The delivery included a variety of essential items such as desks, chairs, canteen tables, filing cabinets, and storage racking — all of which were carefully refurbished by our own VolkerSite Services team over the past week.
The team dedicated an impressive 41 man-hours to bring this project to life. Their hard work has not only breathed new life into furniture that might otherwise go unused but has also created a meaningful impact, purchasing these items new would have cost the school over £6,500.
This donation means that Morecambe Road School can now redirect those funds to other vital areas, enhancing the learning environment and support services for their students.
It’s a great example of how a little time and teamwork can go a long way in supporting our community — well done to everyone involved!
