VolkerStevin raises over £6,000 for The Baby Beat Appeal

Each year, VolkerStevin nominates a charity to support over the course of the year. As a business, we collate the money raised throughout the year through dress down days, sports events, activities, auctions and raffles, and then donate it to our chosen charity. The team recently presented a cheque to The Baby Beat Appeal.

The Baby Beat Appeal aims to maintain and raise standards in preventative care and foetal wellbeing at the Sharoe Green Maternity Unit at Royal Preston Hospital.

VolkerStevin has chosen to support The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in 2019. The charity provides enhanced services, over and above that of the NHS, to cancer patients and their families. The Christie charity is one of the largest hospital charities in the UK, with 83p in every pound raised going directly to the patients.
