C2V teams join the Great British Spring Clean
Teams from across C2V proudly took part in this year’s Great British Spring Clean, joining thousands of volunteers, organisations, and community groups across the country in support of the national campaign led by Keep Britain Tidy.
The Great British Spring Clean encourages everyone to come together to help keep local areas clean, welcoming, and free from litter. Even a short amount of time makes a meaningful difference, and our teams certainly proved that last week.
Teams from Lancaster Wastewater Treatment Works and Ambleside Wastewater Treatment Works came together to carry out litter-picking along access roads, footpaths, and areas surrounding the project locations. Their combined efforts resulted in multiple bags of waste being collected, helping to improve the appearance and health of the local environment and the communities we work alongside.
Taking part in the Great British Spring Clean reflects the commitment shared by both our Lancaster and Ambleside teams to environmental responsibility, community pride, and leaving a positive legacy beyond our projects.
