We're proud to see the positive impact our Community Giving Pot is having in the communities where we work.
Following an application from our Leigh Flood Storage Area team, VolkerStevin awarded a £250 donation to the Amber Foundation, a charity that supports young adults facing complex challenges and homelessness.
The funding helped provide essential equipment for the foundation's bike workshop programme, including helmets, locks, pumps and puncture repair kits.
Since receiving the equipment, 44 young people have taken part in the workshops, learning practical bike maintenance skills, building confidence and gaining greater independence to access work, volunteering opportunities and appointments.
"Having bikes on site gives residents more independence to access work and volunteering opportunities across Ashford and the wider area."

Thank you to everyone involved in making this possible. It's a great example of how community investment, no matter the size, can help create opportunities and make a real difference.
