
11 of our projects were recently nominated for Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards. Our project teams attended awards ceremonies throughout April, and we are proud to announce that VolkerStevin received one Gold Award, two Sliver Awards and seven Bronze Awards. Our Rother Tidal Walls – East project was also awarded the Most Considerate Site Award.

The awards recognise excellence in considerate construction and are one way in which the CCS supports and drives positive change in the construction industry.
The following projects received:

- Phase 1b of the Rochdale and Littleborough Flood Risk Management Scheme – Gold Award
- Frontage 4/5 of the Southsea Coastal Scheme – Silver Award
- Preston and South Ribble Flood Risk Management Scheme – Silver Award
- Kendal Flood Risk Management Scheme – Bronze Award
- Padiham Flood Risk Management Scheme – Bronze Award
- Catterall Footbridge Replacement – Bronze Award
- Appleby Flood Risk Management Scheme – Bronze Award
- Carlisle 1B Flood Risk Management Scheme – Bronze Award
- Teston Sluice Refurbishment – Bronze Award
- Phase 2 of the Arundel Tidal Defences – Bronze Award
