Social value at the Rochdale and Littleborough Flood Risk Management Scheme
Our team working on the Rochdale and Littleborough Flood Risk Management Scheme recently welcomed to site a group from the Institute of Water’s Rising Stars Programme, the initiative supports the development of early-career professionals.

The visit offered an opportunity to learn more about the scheme and how the team are working to better protect the Littleborough community from future flooding.
The team also recently donated two one-tonne bags of surplus wood chippings to the Littleborough Allotment Society. These chipping, created from tree removals on site, will be put to great use on local plots helping gardeners keep paths tidy and moisture in the soil.
