VolkerGround Engineering supports construction of residential apartment buildings
VolkerGround Engineering has recently been working in Stockport, for a valued client who are constructing three residential apartment buildings, ranging from 6-10 storeys.
The package of works included the design and construction of 270 400mm diameter continuous flight auger (CFA) bearing piles, to c.22m deep, which were constructed with a Soilmec SR45 and assisted by a 55tonne mobile crane. Static load testing validated the design with all three performing within settlement criteria.
VolkerGround Engineering’s strict People, Plant, Interface measures ensured the safety of their site team and others on site, resulting in VolkerGround Engineering’s works being accident and incident free.
