Littleborough 1A Flood Risk Management Scheme has scored full marks in recent CCS audit

Recent

The Littleborough 1A Flood Risk Management Scheme recently scored a full 45 marks in a recent Considerate Constructors Scheme audit. The Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) seeks to improve the image of the construction industry by striving to promote and achieve high standards under its Code of Considerate Practice.

The Littleborough team has successfully managed to retain their ‘excellent’ score, for the past four CCS audits, achieving full marks each time. The report highlighted that the project team had been working hard to engage with the local community and that the safety and well-being of the workforce continues to be a principal focus with exceptionally maintained welfare facilities.

All civil works on Phase 1A have now been completed and the landscaping is due to be completed in the spring. The new 22m single span bridge replaces the existing bridge and footbridge following widening of the rive to improve water flow. The improved flood walls and reinforced embankments provide essential flood protection for the community.
