Regeneration

We help government bodies, private developers and local authorities clean up and regenerate former brownfield sites, or develop new infrastructure, such as footbridges, promenades, and waterfront parks, that have a transformative effect on communities and give rise to a rush of investment in local economies.

The Avenue

In Sunderland, we are designing and building the new Wear high-level footbridge and will link the north and south bank riverside developments. Its striking design and creative lighting will provide a prominent new landmark.

At The Avenue, in Derbyshire, we remediated a former coking works that was regarded as one of the most polluted sites in Europe, creating award-winning green landscapes, sports and community facilities, and landscaping riverside paths that now sit alongside 500 new sustainable homes.

Whatever the requirement, we use our wide range of engineering skills to clean up contaminated land, make development platforms flood secure, divert or install utility services, link communities to transport networks, and make spaces habitable and sustainable by creating green corridors and nature reserves.
