VolkerStevin’s HSEQ Expo is a great success

Recent

Following the success of the event in previous years, on Tuesday 14 September, VolkerStevin hosted its HSEQ Expo at Brockholes Nature Reserve, Preston.

The event brought together more than 170 of our clients, partners, members of our supply chain and colleagues. A generous number of exhibitors attended the event, including GAP, Off Grid Energy, Ecofficiency, Sygma Solutions and Sunbelt. A range of organisations were carefully selected to help raise awareness of key HSEQ risks and introduce ideas to assist with their management.

The Expo continued this year to focus on introducing new innovative concepts and sustainable ideas, and a range of informative and insightful presentations were delivered throughout the day. These covered subjects such as: our approach to net zero carbon, professional archaeology, delivering biodiversity and environmental gain, and telematics and intelligent machine control.

Lucinda Farrington-Parker, head of sustainability, said: “It was fantastic to see such a great turnout on the day, not only from VolkerStevin but also from our clients, supply chain and other contracting organisations. By raising awareness of innovative solutions to address HSEQ and sustainability issues, we hope to be able to continue to improve performance to add value to our clients - both within our business and across the wider industry.”

The Expo will be returning next year.
