Merit prizes were awarded to VolkerStevin for their River Mersey flood defence works for the Environment Agency and VolkerLaser, for their work on the strengthening of Cleethorpes Overbridge.

Joint ventures, C2V+, VBA and Staffordshire Alliance were also successful in achieving merit awards.

The safety and wellbeing of everyone working on our behalf is of paramount importance to us and these awards highlight the achievements we have made, and the measures we have in place to ensure this continues.

“To receive a record 10 awards is fantastic. Well done to everyone across all our projects.”

The International Safety Awards, currently in their 58th year, celebrate and promote the success of the winning organisations and their employees in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all. They are open to businesses, public and third sector bodies of all sizes and sectors.
